The City of Warrenville is accepting applications for the Human Resources General position.

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing complex and varied human resources and risk management related duties on a professional level in the following areas: recruitment, benefits administration, training and development, employee relations, and risk management. Meticulous attention to detail, strong communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. This position is also responsible for assisting with public information responses, project management, coordinating with on-site consultants, and other work as needed to support the Administration Department.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
The job description contains additional information about this position and is available to view in the Attached File link.  Applicants for the position of Human Resources Generalist must meet the following minimum requirements and qualifications:

  • Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field, and 
  • Three years of progressively responsible experience; or 
  • Any combination of education and work experience sufficient to perform the work required of the position.

Salary and Benefits

The hiring range is $72,026 - $78,778, the starting salary will be dependent upon experience.  This is a full-time, Exempt position.  The City of Warrenville offers a comprehensive benefits package for employees and their dependents including:

Work Schedule and Information

Schedule is generally Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Attendance at evening meetings and special meetings, as needed.
