Some key things to know:
It’s usually done on a padded mat on the floor (not a massage table).
The recipient remains fully clothed in loose, comfortable clothing.
No oils or lotions are typically used.
The goal is to improve flexibility, circulation, energy flow, and overall relaxation.
A session can feel energizing and restorative rather than purely relaxing—many people describe it as a mix of yoga, massage, and meditation.
