Part-Time Program Assistant - Bilingual Services
- Starting rate is $16.37 per hour or $16.89 per hour with a degree
- With 5+ years of experience, starting rate is $18.37 per hour or $18.89 per hour with a degree
- 8 paid holidays per year (pro-rated)
- 13 sick days, 2 personal days per year (pro-rated)
- Opportunity for additional paid duties such as coaching, internal subbing, game working, etc.
- This is a 10 month calendar.
- This position is covered by the WCHSSSA Collective Bargaining Agreement and is paid on the applicable salary schedule.
FUNCTION
This position will support ESL students in the general classroom. Bilingual/Spanish-speaking preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
- Educator License with Stipulations – Paraprofessional Educator Endorsement, PEL or SUB license required

- Prefer experience working with students
- Background in mathematics, science, reading, and/or writing preferred
- Must be able to work with other staff in a team-oriented manner to best serve the needs of the students
- Must be flexible and willing to work in a variety of classroom settings
- Must be organized and possess good record keeping skills
