The Customer Service Representative provides support to multiple Divisional Sales Managers, processes and/or traces orders, and corresponds with customers and internal contacts at The Jel Sert Company.
This position is a remote role but will be expected to come into the office as required.
This position will require the employee to work overtime as needed. Overtime is scheduled based upon individual job responsibilities and the needs of the department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

- Processes customer orders for assigned territory/regions/accounts.
- Communicates pricing discrepancies, product shortages, and shipping details to brokers and/or customers.
- Collaborating with production and communicating shipping details to the transportation team.
- Document & maintain updated territory account procedures and processes on the Customer Service Shareserver.
- Provides accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
- Reviews unscheduled pickup & open order reports.
- Provides assistance/coverage for department team members during holidays/vacations.
- Follows communication procedures, guidelines & policies.
- Responds to consumer product questions/inquiries and provides appropriate solutions.
- Other tasks as assigned by Customer Service Manager, based on business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 2 years experience in customer service within an office environment.
- Food Industry experience preferred.
- Computer literacy and highly proficient and accurate data entry skills is required.
