Taste of Personify Leadership Event


In early December, we started fostering-to-adopt a couple of kittens (siblings). My kiddos are over the moon, and almost immediately harness and leash trained them. There was, of course, some suspicion about whether this is a good idea. Their efforts are starting to show, however, and this past Sunday, we were able to walk as a family at a local forest preserve. It was a FUN activity, especially if considering that it was tainted with some nervousness about how the kittens and the kiddos will do.
 
Training cats, I reflect, is very much like leadership. We have to have a good understanding about what we can control, influence, and let go. Sometimes, we just can’t force the issue. Often, we are surprised at what happens when we go to the edges of our comfort zone.
 
On that note, tGG is starting the year with a FUN announcement: Republic Bank of Chicago is hosting a complimentary 2-hour Taste of Personify event on Tuesday, February 10, from 12:00 to 2:00pm (see attached). This session will feature our “Mind of a Leader” module, which is part of the Personify Leadership program you might’ve heard about from us before.
 
During this module, you’ll gain actionable insights, such as:

• Understanding emotional resiliency at work
• Recognizing the difference between too little, optimal, and too much stress
• Identifying stress-related behaviors in the workplace
• Clarifying what you can control, influence, or let go
