Japanese Traditional structured class with an emphasis on self-defense and or combat empty hand applications. We stress traditional values such as respect, honor, and integrity. Jujutsu is considered the way of the gentle hand, allowing the Jujutsu stylist to accept the force from another and use it against their attacker. This class covers the beginner to advanced empty hand techniques through advanced self-defense applications. Pressure point strikes, joint locks and escapes, wrist controls, throws, advanced falling, within the system of Oseike Jujutsu are taught as well as basic Kicks, blocks, punching, throws, joint locks and wrist controls are part of this curriculum. Throwing and being thrown is an integral part of Jujitsu as is ground work. Most of MMA sport techniques are pulled from the combat applications taught by Jujitsu. Please wear loose clothing. Traditional ranking structure applies to this class. Weapons will not be taught in this class Uniforms are mandatory please see instructor on the first class. (MM)

This class covers the beginner to advanced empty hand self-defense applications, such as joint locks, throws, striking techniques, escapes, wrist controls and falling both basic and advanced. Throwing is a basic part of jiu-jitsu along with ground work. Most MMA sport techniques are based on combat applications taught by jiu jitsu. Uniforms are mandatory please see instructor on the first class. Note: 5+ with previous Judo classes/11+ new students.
