Join us as we officially welcome this magnificent alebrije owl sculpture named Buck to our community.
Commissioned by the City of Warrenville’s Tourism and Arts Commission in conjunction with the Mexican Cultural Center of DuPage, this beautiful piece of art was created specifically for our library by Mexican artist Edgar Camergo Reyes.
Sara Phalen, Director of the Warrenville Historical Museum & Art Gallery and the West Chicago City Museum, will present a short history of alebrije art in this brief dedication ceremony with the Tourism and Arts Commission. Refreshments will be served.
